Need upgrade suspension please help

2013 Gt Brembo pack. I'm lowered on SR springs. I want to get koni yellow or orange shocks and struts because obviously the OEM ones are wearing fast. I'm also confused as to why you need gt500 strut mounts as well as why people switch and get the older 05-09 shocks and struts. Thanks in advance sorry if this is a novice question but I need to know exactly what to get before starting.

The GT500 mounts are more durable then the stock 11-14's. However only fit the 05-09 struts due to the shaft length. I'm running Strange struts up front "05-09" with GT500 mounts and have no problems.

So the 05-09 struts will be the same if not better than the 10-14?

Performance is no different. It's just the length of the shaft at the top that is different. That's all. Don't get hung up on the fact that it's 05-09, it's also 11-14 GT500. So they used them on 2014 models, just not the GT.

What everyone here said. The GT500 strut mounts are beefier, which is exactly why I went with 05-09 Koni oranges all around in conjunction. I also have your same springs. It's a helluva combo and the total price can't be beat.

I would, but that's just my opinion. For my needs, a daily that handles and hooks well, it suits me perfectly.

I just installed my koni yellows with bmr lower and adjustable upper control arm with mounts, adjustable panhard bar and ebiach springs. Kept stock mounts easily and they are working just fine. The adjustable feature is really nice and playing with it you can get it set to what you like and what the car likes. I also upgraded my wheels and tires which made a big difference also, I couldn't stand the stock tires

That is what I did. I also have the SR springs along with BMR ADJ. UCA and mount, LCA and relo brackets and PHB. Another benefit for the GT500 mounts is that with a mild drop they can keep the camber in spec by pointing the arrows inward toward the engine. Just got my alignment today. Good info here. Another benefit is that I feel like the oem strut mounts are junk. When I put on steeda cc plates and took off my oem mounts the bearing looked like it was encased in cheap plastic and actually separated easily on its own. I was more glad to have a better designed mount installed which further justified the cc plate purchase.
