47# injectors and tune loud noises...

I installed my Ford racing 47# injectors and loaded my Lund 93 octane tune and started my car, I only let it run for about 30 seconds because of this god awful noise, like a LOUD tick. It ran smoothish, rpms went up and down a little but smoothed out over time. Any ideas before I contact my tuner? I'll post a video if needed

Ran it a little more, Oil pressure normal, oil doesn't smell like fuel, no leaks, I slightly smell raw fuel in the garage but I did just swap them out yesterday so fuel did get out. Also runs smooth now. faulty injectors? Or do they just need to be dialed in more via my tuner?

Did you re-install the sound deadening foam blocks that fit around the injectors?

Sent from my SM-T217S using Mustang Evolution mobile app

Yes I did.
And I installed the injectors for an e85 conversion tune, Lund just wants to get everything dialed in with pump gas then I'll switch over

Update:
I pulled one electrical connector for the fuel injector at a time while running, The noise stayed consistent. I also used a stethoscope and the fuel injectors all make a mild clicking noise which seems normal. The ticking is coming from the intake manifold I can hear it most towards the front. As the RPMs increase so does the ticking. I am almost certain I didn't drop anything through the injector port. I even tried running the 47 injectors with the stock tune and still heard the tick. Just for kicks I am swapping the old injectors back in

Hheelllppp
