That's right, absolutely nothing.

That's the same list we have on an mt-82

But to make it shift BETTER, we add some of these things. Much like how auto guys add converters, shift points in tunes ect.

👍🏻

My previous "pleasure" car was an auto. I got a great deal on it, but regretted buying an auto since the day I drove it off the lot. I swore if I was ever in the position to get another weekend car, it was going to be a manual.

I've only had my "new to me" GT for a couple months now, but every time I drive it, I think to myself "I love driving a manual!"

Tough call....

Newbie question, are that hazards salt on the wound after you leave someone in the dust?

I guess I don't run with people that get all but hurt after a loss. We do it for fun. Got out of the actual racing scene awhile back.

But yes it can then the excuses start, after that.

I had a 2011 5.0 with the MT82 and now have a 2012 3.7 with the MT82 and neither of them went into first easily or shifted to seconds very good. I though with the 2013 they fixed the problems but I'm not sure.

I recently bought a 2015 GT premium w/Performance Pkg., and I enjoy driving the manual. I do have a VW Passat with auto for change of pace, but there's nothing like 6 speed manual for fun driving. I'm 75, and my street racing days are way behind me. Back the we were into power shifting with Hurst Competition shifter and Muncy 4-speed.

Okay so some people are telling me that it'll be a downgrade, but I'm assuming an upgrade with rev auto will make it better, but I'm still very torn lol

Bro. The only one who can decide if it's better or worse is you. For me an auto would drive me crazy. For some a manual is the same.

Have you driven a mt-82?

If you have a friend with one maybe he will let you drive it? Go to a carmax and test drive one? I know that's a small sample but at least you can feel it for yourself.

Don't let anyone tell you one is worse than the other. That's not fact, but their opinions.

IG @Oxford5pointoh

I drove a 2015 with the MT-82 and thought it was great. The car had about 500 miles on it.

The late Barney Navarro told me one time, "building/buying a car is like buying a new pair of shoes, if they don't fit perfectly why buy them", as Oxford5pointoh said....................it's your money, your car and you are the one that has to live with it. Opinions are like Chevy motors.....................everyone has one.
Sorry, it just occurred to me that a lot of you probably don't know who Barney Navarro was. Back in the 40's/50's/60's he was a brilliant automotive engine designer and contributed more to making Flathead Fords produce HP than Edelbrock or Tony Baron. He fielded an Indy car in the 60's that used a 200 cubic inch Rambler motor with twin turbo's that produced over 700HP......................he was also a great human being.

Only problem I've had was the slave cylinder caving in and pedal gets stuck to the floor. That was replaced under warranty 2 months ago. It's now having the same problem. Scheduled to go in next Thursday.
