Best shifter for 5.0?

What is the best shifter for the 5.0

Barton ? Hurst? Steeda? What's the best ?

there are really only two choices, #1 MGW and a distant and I mean distant #2 Barton and I've had both, I now have the MGW race spec and wouldn't trade it for any other shifter.

I went for the Ford Racing shifter. Even though it's made by Barton but cost a few dollars more, I liked the look of it plus I knew if anything silly happened underneath with the transmission, I wouldn't have to worry about warranty issues.
Between the shifter and bushing underneath, it took me about 2 and half hours on jack stands. Just take your time.

Just installed my MGW this afternoon and wow huuuge improvement. I have to say though install wasn't that difficult on jack stands and nothing complicated really arose. Click image for larger version

Pretty sure some one has had work done to my trans before as well. After unbolting a few things, I had marks every where showing signs of some one removing the trans.
