Just curious its nothing serious. In my car my thermostat for outside temperature always reads 50 degrees outside. I live in Florida and i know its hotter than that. It's fu**in hot outside. Is there anyway i can reset it to read correctly. Thanks

That's usually the temp it displays when the sensor is missing, damaged or not working. It's a cheap part and easy to replace...like $8. Underneath the front drivers side but you will need to remove the chin plate which is held on by about 12 screws. Also, it's much easier on ramps.
I got mine at my local Ford dealer parts counter. I called first, they ordered it and had it the next day.
You might even try disconnecting yours, making sure it's not plugged and it's clean and see if that's it. Or it could be missing if your car was repaired in the front or prior rental car. It's one of those parts that gets scavenged from rentals for resale by crooks.
