Power seat dying?

My power seat won't move forwards or backwards. It tilts in all the directions. Sometimes it will move back but not forward. If I push it by hand and press the button it helps a bit but still sometimes won't go. Anyone experience this?

Same here. Started making grinding sound moving back and fourth. I'm sure it was on its way out. Fixed under warranty last summer.

Those of you that had it fixed - what was the problem? Bad motor?

Bad seat track assembly. Mine did that, had to fix it. After an argument and a letter to the owner of the dealership, i got it fixed. Otherwise, expect $1500 or more...

They have batteries? I wouldn't think that that is the problem though, since all the other power functions work fine, except for forward/backward
