New Exhaust Coming In

Got the gt500 oem axle backs coming in tomorrow and am super excited.

I had a 07 v6 a year back and did the full ford racing dual exhaust kit. The break-in period on that was BY FAR the best exhaust I've heard and then it got more subtle - assuming carbon buildup and all.

Quick (and maybe stupid) question. If the same occurs with this, any way to flush it to hear the amazing sounds again?

#pleasedontkillmeifthisisstupid #lolz?

I have the GT500 single tip exhaust on my 14 GT and love it. I also have a set of GT500 resonator delete OTA pipes that make the GT500's sound even better.

It is one of the better sounding exhausts IMHO and they used to be quite a bargain when you could get them for around $320. Now they are like $499. I was lucky and got both of my sets new from forum members for about $250. I have an extra set just in case mine eventually rust out or get damaged.

Installed today and sounds amazing!!!

Regarding break-in period what's the standard here? No "hot rodding" until...say...300kms?
