Wheels and Tires

Hey everybody, I have a 2011 mustang gt with the brembos and I have found a set of 2012 gt500 wheels and tires I wanted to make sure that they would cover the brembo calipers before I bought them? The wheels also have 275-40-19 tires on all four wheels and will those clear on the front? I didn't know if they would be too wide on the front or if I wouldn't be able to turn without scrubbing? Thanks in advance for the input.

The wheels will def fit no prob. Can't speak to the tires but I would be willing to bet you won't have an issue. 275 isn't really that wide.

You didn't say if you are lowered or not.
I have a 14 TrakPak Mustang and put 13/14 GT500 TrakPak wheels on the car. Mine is lowered with Sportline springs which lowered it about 1.5" in the front and 2" in the rear. I'm not sure what the offset is on the 12 GT500 wheels but mine are 265x40/19's in the front and could fit 275x40/19's..... I will when the F1's wear down. The rears are 285x35/20 and I could probably squeeze 295's in the rear. I get no scrubbing whatsoever. Look at my pictures and you see the old Brembo wheels and GT500 TrakPak wheels.
I think you'll be fine.

It's not the width the becomes a problem.............it's the height. On mine GT500 wheels they came OE with 265's and I know the 275's will fit but I'd have to squeeze a 285 in because mine is lowered 1.5" in front.

Okay, I just wanted to make sure that they would work before I got them. I'm not lowered or anything. The car is completely stock as far as suspension goes. Thanks for all the info. I really appreciate the help.

No problem. I finally found the specs on the on my 13/14 TrakPak wheels and they look to be the same as the 12 GT500 wheels/tires.......19x9.5 with 44mm offset in the front and 20x9.5 with 50mm offset in the rear.
So either way the wheels and tires of the 2012 GT500 will fit fine with no issues.
How about putting some pictures of your car on the site??? I'd like to see some before and after pictures since I've never seen the GT500 wheels on a non lowered car.

I missed out on the wheels. Somebody else bought them before I got the chance... but if I find some more I'll post some pictures for sure.
