Hey guys, I have a 2011 mustang
gt "5.0 obviously" and I have a really strange noise going on. I'd like to upload a video of it but this forum can't. If I had to put my money on were its coming from id have to say the stock 51,000 mile clutch. I think it's the throw out bearing or the pressure plate. It almost sounds like timing chain slap but it's coming form under he car behind the motor. And I have a monster exhaust leak but that's an entirely different sound. When I ride the clutch without any gas, just to get moving it seems to disappear. But when the clutch is completely engaged or disengaged it ticks away. I've had this issue before but it disappeared for several months and is back all of the sudden. Also my stock clutch is pretty warped and chatters when it gets hot. I need a new one but I would like to push it off as long as possible since its a dd. also is $800 and a good 5 hours on my back in the driveway. Not to mention taking that PITA exhaust off again.
