Tapping a fuse, save?

Trying to tap a fuse in the engine compartment for halos.
I tried heated mirrors but found it would only get power if I turn on the defrosters.

What fuse is save to tap? I feel tapping a fuel pump or powertrain control module wouldnt make me feel worry-free.

How do people usually get 12v power that turns on and off with the car under the hood?

The power windows are cartridge fuses and not mini fuses.

Curious how these would work. Did you open up the fogs and insert them in? Do a DIY!

My GT/CS doesn't come with the center fogs, they come with the lower valance fogs. But I mounted the halos anyway.
