wrong injectors. Mine are FRPP 47's and they were the exact same size as stock.

Yeah I installed the 47lb LU47 injectors today in my 2004 mustang gt... The LU47 are the standard length the other ones g302 I think are shorter like rap said. There is a diagram that tells you actual dimensions on ford injectors. I'm so anal I actual bought a used injector for my car to compare to the lu47s just to be sure lol

On a side note I got my vortech head unit mounted... Thanks to ACE for having the oil drain bung I needed... I was ready to scrap my whole install this weekend

They make 3 different lengths

Long which is 60mm
Short which is 40mm
Medium which is 48mm

The ones you originally got came from a gt500. Which were 40mm
They could have worked with adapters. But look like **** and cause problems.

Like my old injectors I ran in my 03 cobra were the 80lb. They fit right in my coyote bc they both use the same style.
Now a guy with a twin turbo lsx is running my old 80lb's

🍼and 🌽 fed coyote.

use vaseline if anything at all. will help keep from damaging o-rings and won't hurt the rubber

I thought so since it's the o ring that seals it. Just a small dent in the outer plating. I got a good deal on these

Injectors in and everything worked fine. Ran some logs and everything looked fine to me. Gonna get a dyno of the before and after for when I switch to e85

I'm curious if you ever made the switch to E85 and if so, what your gains were.

Good to know! I found a new-ish station with E85 today while evading a possible tornado. Thinking about switching.....
