Twin Turbo Set Up

Hey guys how are you? I'm new to this forum and thought it may be a good place to get some different opinions. I'm doing a tt set up on my 2011 5.0 and am wanting to see mid 700s for now. What kind of supporting mods, tuners, ect would you guys recommend to make a reliable 700 hp car?

Ok I appreciate it, there was a guy here in town who had some twins and claimed to be making 740 on stock internals And maybe he was but I don't want to trash my motor. Any idea on what the stock internals are rated at before your pushing to hard?

650 max with a good tune.

He may have made what he claims but he probably drives it like a grandma.

You have a lot to look into. Your talking about $20,000 + in parts from suspension motor ect
to make the power your wanting

Some people just throw a power # out there and think hey, it will only cost A amount. But have no clue about B,C and D. It's not cheap

No nobody scared me off and I don't have cold feet. I have a ON3 twin 60 mm kit sitting at the house. I'm just trying to get different opinions of how to hit those numbers, and I do appreciate all of the input. Rap what would you suggest? I was thinking for fuel running the injectors dynamics ev14 with high flow rails.

Oh Lord, the manual. Send it off to Ben Calimer to have it built. The stock manual transmission may eat itself at less than that power.

I'm at 740hp and 780ft-lbs on the stock manual.

Fuel system depends on what fuel you want to run. You going for pump gas or e85?

The MT82(the manual transmission in 11+ GT's) need improvements. For those levels, yes, it's practically a time bomb.

Your the man rapinator. Sorry it's taking so long to reply back I'm working.
I'd like to stay pump gas at the moment. I drive it quite a bit and know it would drink e85 down like I do coronas. Ya man appreciate your help!

It's all good bud

Ok for regular 93 you can get away with the stock fuel system. You can make 700-730ish with nothing more than id1000's and a BAP.

That's good to know. I'm drawing a blank what is a BAP?
For suspension I am going to do upper and lower rear control arms, panhard bar, lower springs( temporary until I get coilovers), and I'm going to throw a set of Mickey Thompson's on this weekend.
The local shop that does nice tunes wants me to run a diablo tuner.

Twin Turbo Set Up

BAP is a boost a pump. Ups the voltage to the stock fuel pump.

Who is the shop?

I don't want to sound like a wet blanket here, but this doesn't add up. I know Rap has a sick machine. He's put lots of love into it, in addition to big $$$. However, at $20k plus the car, you might as well look at a GT500 and a new pulley, right? You'd be looking at the same cost, he'd get a load of better parts like the Tremec, suspension bits, the 5.4 block, etc. Unless he plans on replacing like 30% of the car, how could this be a good idea? What am I missing?

The car will be faster than a GT500 with pulley swap.

Built not bought.
And I wipe the floors with gt500's with the 5.4, with full exhaust pulley tune ect. E85, and cams.

They also have crap suspension.
Just like the coyotes.

Is this ur daily driver? U say u drive it alot. Why would sink $20 k into something that ur driving so much. To me if I had a built motor with that much power and that much money into it I would consider it my toy to rip around but not my daily.

I agree with Rap, I enjoy putting my time and effort into something and seeing what I can make it do and accomplish.
As far as daily driver right now it is but it's not going to be for the simple fact of keeping miles off of it after I do what I am wanting to do to it. And even then why would you not want to daily drive it?
