GT fogs to CS fogs

I am doing the gt500 grilles and was wondering once I remove the stock fog lights do the CS fog lights just wire up to what's there? Just making sure there is nothing special that needs to be done to safely install the new lights. I realize I may have to splice in to the existing wires. Are there any kits for this install or do I need to worry going from the hid's to standard lights? Thanks in advance for the help. Going to order the parts tonight!

If you buy the C/S fog lights/lower valance it wil come with the wire harness extensions. Plug and play.

I don't know anything about that. My experience is with the 2011-2012 cars only.

GT fog lights

Yes that kit will work. You will have to splice into 2 wires on each side. The kit is a pretty straight forward install, I done it to my 14 GT and looks awesome. You may want to get some brighter bulbs to match the headlights. Quite a few people have gotten the LED lights to put in.

Yes you may, but I just choose to not pay (at that time) $249 for a set of lights that I could get for $124. If you aren't comfortable with splicing, then that maybe the better route for you.

I'd just get the Ford CS fogs. They are way cheaper.

That's what I will likely do but also the adapters. I'd like to be able to switch the car back to stock with minimal effort of owner have to.

I did the splice deal awhile back. Easy. Don't expect anywhere near the same light output though.
I ended up going back to the GT fogs when I put in brake ducting.

I might just relocate my fogs to the middle of the GT500 grille.

I already messaged that guy on EBay about his kit working with either the CDC grill or Cervinis GT500 style grill and he said it won't work. His kit requires the vertical mounting plastic things to still be in place but more than likely, if you already installed the grill, you've cut those out.

Well the Cervini grille doesn't require you to cut those. Only the CDC one does. I won't be cutting mine out.

The CDC grill doesn't come with the mesh pieces. This is the Cervini grill that he has in this pic.

Is that with his kit and will the mesh still work?
