Mystery solved... Had the dealership call the guy that had the vehicle. He said that it has BBK long tube headers with a BBK shorty catted x pipe. Borla axle backs. It was dyno tuned

I knew it had after market exhaust. Just didn't know it had headers as well. This whole mess started because my car got 403RWHP on the dyno.

Oh ok shame on the seller for not mentioning that. I couldn't see why they'd leave that detail out. Either they think it's been beat on or that it was enhanced it wouldn't affect price much if any.

I had the car inspected and no issues were found. It's a '13 with 6k miles on it. If any issues it still has the factory warranty. I bought a extended warranty as well

I'm not implying there's something wrong but don't you think your salesman should've a) know it was there b) made that well aware to you?

They did mention the axle backs. Didn't know about the headers. I knew it had a aftermarket as soon as I turned it on.

Tune shouldn't be a issue. Dealership I used to take my SHO was ok with it being tuned. I have the stock exhaust for the 5.0 if needed

Agreed. Numbers are a little low. I'd be a little worried since there is no one around I would trust with a dyno tune on a 2013 in our area.

Ok so what is the gain from long tube headers? I'm seeing around 15hp. If the stock 5.0 dyno's around 360hp then I think it's a good gain. I'm seeing that can tunes add around 25-30hp

Dealer most likely knew about the extras but didn't mention it. They figure if they list the mods ppl are more inclined not to purchase the car thinking it was beat on.

It's a M6. How do you post pics on here? I happy with the numbers. Plenty of power for me

A friend of mine has a fully built 2.5 liter STi fully forged bottom end, and supporting mods for a PTE 6262 and all they netted him was like 420awhp. Spent well over 20k...😕

Oh, and he blew a ringland the first go around with them after about 10k in...

OP, refund that "extended" warranty as that's a complete waste of money. Why do people buy these things let alone on a muscle car? With a tune, headers, midpipe? You will NEVER see a benefit from that warranty or your factory one for that matter.

I would also echo some of the comments about buying a car and not knowing it has headers on it. Did you not even look under the hood? If you had you would have surely seen the headers and known it must have a tune on it at that point.

If I were you I would make sure to go to the dealership where you bought it and express your concern for the mods they neglected to tell you about and just ask them how it effects your warranty 😏. When they tell you it doesn't, ask them to put it in writing.

I can see 370ish tuned maybe, but 400+ without catbacks, headers, cai is pushing it. Even tuned without supporting mod I am sceptical.

I've always been told the 11-14 makes roughly 360-370 stock from the factory.

Those are best possible situation numbers I would say 360s being normal stock. Tuned posibbly 380s. No supporting mods getting 400 at the wheels tune, very slight chance. Untuned absolutely not.

Yea pro dyno is definitely a reputable shop. Do a couple passes at the strip and see what she traps. That is always the best way to determine how she runs.
