2015 seats fit any of the 2011-14?

I've searched and no answer. I was wondering if someone has tried to fit the 15 mustang seats on a 10-14. There's someone around here selling theirs for 350 for the whole seats including the rear ( don't think those will fit). I think our models, the seats looks just plain and boring whether it's leather or not. Has anyone tried to swap them? Is it a direct fit?

Lmao. I guess the worst you can do is try to fit the 2015 cloth/leather takeoffs over the seat frames/foam of the 11-14s and stuff or shave down if needed.

AGREED for that cheap its worth a try!

OP, you could make some adapter brackets to bold down the fronts probably.

You take your bases, unbolt the seats them bolt your bases to the 2015 seats.

Similar to the risers people make for the passenger side seats.

I'm mostly worried for the adapters if they will connect with no problems. I think the 15 seats have a much nicer look than at 11-14 mustangs even if it's cloth.

From what I have read about the ford racing Recaros there are three variations of seats 2011 to mid 2012. Mid 2012 to 2014 and 2015+. The main difference between the first two is the connector for the side air bag and the air bag module in the seat in not compatible with the car. I have more specifics some where on my computer. I would assume this goes for the regular seat as well.

ABS Seat connector 2011-2012 Mid PRODUCTION year are round, for mid 2012- 2014 PRODUCTION year are square. Not sure on the connector for 2015+. Some where on the forums is a guy who took the foam and cover from a 2013 Recaro and put them on his 2011 seats.

What I want is to keep the factory side airbags and don't want to have the airbag symbol on my dash. I've kept searching and I saw that someone has put the 2015 recaros seats on his 05 mustang and he was able to make airbag adaptor work and everything's working now. I guess the seat brackets on the recaro and the 15 normal seats must be different. Thanks guys for all your input, I'm still searching for more info before I buy them. Here's a picture of the seats for 280Click image for larger version

The shaping of the seat looks similar to a 11-14. Different cloth/texture design, but similar shaping.

They look dirty.

I guess they didn't come out of a totaled car though, b/c the seats would be ripped at the sides from the airbags?
