Catless Xpipe, tune and some suspension goodies like lower control arm relocation brackets, and upper control arm and relocation bracket. That's what I'd be looking at if I had 1000$ to spend.

for my 1st $1000 I bought:

Used: MGW shifter, Bassani axle backs, and Airaid CAI

New: motor mounts, high flow clutch line, and 4 Focal speakers to replace the OEM base model kazoos.

Then a catless Xpipe and a tune will give you a great bang for your buck and really make it come alive.

Would a catless xpipe with no mufflers and resonators be to loud?

I also already have a intune tuner for my old 07 gt could I use that if I took it to a dyno shop and have him change something?

A tune is a good power adder but some dealers may give you wtty grief.

Just call around your local speed shops and see what they charge for a custom dyno tune. I spent 325$ on mine here in the Carolina's

Axlebacks: M-5230-MGTCA1 @ $500 (these used to only cost like $350 )
http://www.americanmuscle.com/ford-g...ck-2011gt.html
(gives just the right exhaust note to a Mustang, not really for power like Cat delete, etc.)

Tune: Bama @ $400
http://www.americanmuscle.com/x4-cus...er-2011gt.html

Yeah, I know people are going to say go to a different tuner, etc... but you're going to have to buy a $400 tuner anyway, so why not get this one & use the free tunes for now. You can always get Lung, AED, Mike Rousch, etc... to email you a tune later on for this tuner.

Sound tube removal: $10 - axlebacks will make it louder, so get rid of the "fake" noise inside the car, you won't need it anymore.

Oil Separator: $90 - http://www.americanmuscle.com/sr-oil...ck-1114gt.html
This is the one I got. It takes a little more work. Where the other ones are completely plug & play, but for $30, I can cut an inch of tube off & crimp 2 connectors.

MGW shifter for sure... save your money then get good suspension, then get good tires. Unless you want the sound and aesthetics first. The stock shifter in these cars is garbage and changing it alone will make the car more fun to drive.

OP has an automatic. Those aren't garbage.

I've been thinking about getting nitrous. I used to just want to supercharge or turbo it but I want to really just build it na and use nitrous.

Nitrous will set you over your $1,000 you have right now.
Considering you will need a tune also.
Now I can help you with everything you will need.

I'm still for using that money and getting suspension first though

Thanks for that Rap. So tune and suspension first. Should I do anything else before nitrous or is that about it?

Should I get wider tires for the rear for better traction? How wide can I go?
