Based on my opinion. And I have owned and rebuilt these cars. Also I have done 4 fox body coyote swaps how many have you done? But the honest truth is your stock cai is just as good as any aftermarket on these cars. Even the company's that sell them tell you that if you read you can gain 30 hp with cai and tune. And then they go on to say a tune will give you 30 extra hp so that's telling you the aftermarket cai is junk...

Fair enough and I agree the stock CAI is just as good.

I had the Steeda CAI for my Boss 302 manifold, my IAT'S were reading high while traveling at low speed or stopped. Once above 45 mph they would go back to ambient, but the seal around the intake is not 100%. I switched back to the stock intake and the off line acceleration is better since the ECU is not pulling as much timing.

If I ever get time I will see if I can find where the seal can be improved, but right now the stock one is better.

With no other changes but the JLT? Post up the graphs not that I care about a useless dyno number.

Yes, with no other changes... I am very sorry that I cannot find the Dyno sheets right now. As you can see by my signature I do not own the Boss any more and have moved on..The people at JLT had my dyno info on their web site for awhile.
I agree that dyno numbers are pretty crazy but I did my dyno run on the same dyno within 45 minutes of each other..If I can find the records on my Boss 302 I am sure I have the dyno sheets there..Just cannot find them right now.. This picture is from the day we did the dyno

Hey Guys..I am not good at this scanning and computer stuff but I am trying.. If I did this right we should get a copy of the dyno run that shows stock Boss Track Key Tune 376 hp and Installed C&l NO TUNE INTAKE 398 HP..tHAT IS 22hp with no tune..These were done within one hour of each other with no changes in anything except installing CAI...I have another dyno run later with the other Boss key that shows 404 hp....Now I do not want to get into any arguments with the experts on this web site..I am just showing what I did.

Was it a JLT or a C&L? Was it 22 or 30 horsepower? Your story has already changed from your original post.

And furthermore a dyno run with a fan blowing on the engine with the hood open is hardly real world conditions.

I give up..Now I cannot get the dyno run down sized enough to send to this forum.. Also my mistake...It is a C&L that I put on my Boss... I have a nice graph to send but cannot get it to down size enough... Anyway, it shows from 376 hp to 398 hp with only the C&L CAI install..I also have another run with the other Boss key that shows 404 hp... The C&L web site had my dyno graphs on their advertising site for awhile...I am sure that even if I got it to post here some of you experts would tear the dyno graph apart... I just wanted to show the original guy my results...Sorry that I cannot get it to post..
