Rotating noise

I've been having transmission problems with my 2014 GT. it only has 23k on it. When driving, if I take the car out of gear and coast it, there is a loud rotating noise that comes from the rear of the car. Any idea what it could be?

if you really want help and you have other info it's helpful to share what other problems/symptoms/things you have tried.

Well, generally, rear end, driveshaft and brake noises stay consistent with road speed. So, clutch in and still there? That isolates the search. Outer axle bearings tend to moan rather than make a rotating sound. inners tend to grind as they disintegrate. Rear gears tend to whine on accel or coast at particular road speeds. Tires tend to rumble as they age, particularly the factory summer Pirellis on BBP or TP.

In and out with the clutch engagement? Transmission and clutch likely culprits.

Variable with rpm? Engine and accessory drives.

Why are you pursuing lemon? What's wrong with the car that's led to that? Is this the only issue? Maybe record it for us and post a vid.

The noise is while the car is in motion, I can be in gear or out, it's just easier to her when I'm neutral. I can relate the noise to a dyno when they let off the throttle.

I'm pursuing lemon law because the car has had numerous tranny issues,

1. There is a loud popping noise when engaging the clutch in reverse.
So if I'm in revers and I press the clutch while rolling there's a bang!
Ford has tried 5 times to fix the issues but aren't able to. Now that I'm hearing noises coming from what I think is the driveshaft/gears.

2. Extreme rocking in any RPM. This problem mostly occurs in traffic. I can be in 1st-6th gear at any rpm and the car becomes very jerky while adding throttle or taking my foot off the throttle.

It's not the tires, I have 305 MTs on the rear, I am not lowered so there shouldn't be any even wear. The tires only have 10k.

Sucks that you are lemonizing it. Are you the original owner?
