Not bad. If I had that big of hood, a blower would be required for me. Still shopping for a nice hood for my 2011 GT so I can't talk much... lol

Ha ya I get questions daily about if it's boosted. Can't afford it yet but TTs are in the works.

Single turbo is the best way to go on the coyotes. The twins add the eye candy but if your looking for all out performance. The single is the best bet.
I know of a few fast twin coyotes.
Just a proper sized single will hold the upper hand every time.

What's the best kit out there Rap for a single? I'm assuming you wouldn't be able to run much boost SAFELY with stock compression? I'm going to be in the market soon for some FI.

CPR
JPC
EDP
Any of those 3 will be amazing.
6psi with any of these kits will put you at what the motor will be good for with stock internals.

I know a lot of people don't care for hellion kits but if you do a little fabrication work to it and run a different brand waste gate than theirs they can be beast. A friend of mine has one of their single kits and he gives my car running 12psi through a VMP a good run for its money at only 8 psi with his single turbo.

I good portion of the piping needs to be replaced or fabricated once you get into high boost with the hellion single. At low boost it works good.
But if you want to start pushing 14psi + your going to have a big issues unless a good 40% is swapped out of fabricated.

I see that your car is bottle fed. I was thinking about doing that before I boost it. Is your engine built?

Just searched EDP and came up on this thread, what experiences have guys had with this shop, I'm in Colorado Springs and they are right down the road and since I've been debating wether to go with a vortech/paxton or single turbo (since i keep hearing from you that it's the way to go on the coyotes) this just might be the perfect answer. I have stock motor and tranny for now.

I know of 2 cars out in Austin with the kit. Both cars are stock motor also.
If I was to go single it would be the EDP kit. His price is good and if you order directly from him he has a unbeatable price on id1,000's also.
You will loose your front seat bar with his kit also.

Well looks like I'll be going down to his shop this coming week so we can make plans for this winter. Thanks Rap. What route are you going with yours as of now.
What do you mean loose front seat bar?

No problem
For me I'm Moving back to Houston in a few days. Once I get settled back in I will decide what I'm going to do.

The front sway bar has to be removed for the kit to be installed.

There's a lot of guys running into issues with valve float when going above factory redline with the EDP kit. Seems the kit wasn't well designed to do anything but run to 6600rpm at less than 10psi. With all the issues arising with this kit, I'd stay away from it. For a single kit, I'd go with CPR.

Wrong. Valve float happens with the stock valve springs usually around 700hp. And 7,000 + Plenty of people at the 800+ level with the CPR kit. It's identical to JPC

Nothing a set of trick flow valve springs won't fix. The boss ones are crap spend the $ and do it right the first time.

The EDP kit has significantly more back pressure than both the JPC and CPR, making it more susceptible to valve float. Don't see how anything I've said here is wrong. But I forget I'm talking to the forum know it all.

Reason I'd choose the CPR over is Sam. Nothing against Justin or JPC, but if I can get pretty much the exact kit for a little bit cheaper, and have more personal customer service, I'm going with that.

I'm explaining my personal experiences with valve float ect.

I have seen back pressure problems on the coyotes also. And they usually lift a head b4 the springs start to float.
High rpms and HP is usually what causes valve float on these cars.

I have not seen anyone with back pressure problems on the EDP kit. And for a price of $5,600 shipped it's hard to beat.

And even if you ran this kit at 6psi with e85 and made 650 with the 7475 it will be a rocket. And take down a blown coyote making 100 more to the ground.
The kit comes on strong

And everything I say is from personal experience. I like how a lot of you pull the "forum know it all" BS but hey I don't care. At the end of the day i will give my experiences and stick to them.

Last time I checked CPR was asking mid $6,000's for their kit?

JPC is $6,700 I believe.
At the end of the day though a single is a better choice over a twin kit IMO.
Twins are good for the eye candy if that's what your looking for.

Lots of guys unhappy with the EDP kit around. They're running into valve float way before guys running other kits are. For a kit that's marketed as ready for 1200hp it's got a lot of explaining to do. The 2.5" up pipe and smaller exhaust housing are I think to blame, but I haven't had a kit in front of me to flow test so I can't say for sure. But there's plenty of people out there with issues, enough to keep me away from it until they figure out the root cause, or redesign the flaw.

Sorry for coming off brash, I'm speaking from experience as well, been in the turbo game for a long time.

Pretty sure he changed the newer kits to a 3", may be wrong though.
If I do get it I will be going with the 74/75 vs the 76/75 so we will see how it does on my car once I'm get to start on her again.
