Best mod to go with next?

Hey guys, I have a 2012 GT and recently got a Diablo intune, JLT intake and got it dyno tuned today.

The numbers are at 385/355.

Race red GT premium, as far as exterior mods for anyone wondering I've done Raxiom black halo lights, Willpak rear window louvers, black billet front grill, and dipped the taillights, spoiler, gas cap and small window louvers black. Also have some 18x9 front and 18x10 rear TSW black rims, and Nitto NT555 extreme performance tires staggered at 255/285. As far as exhaust I purchased the car and it already had a Pypes axle back with black tips and I'm happy with the sound.

It's my daily, so what would you guys recommend I put under the hood next?

I know you said, "under the hood" but why not do a performance and appearance mod like lowering?

Performance out of lowering the car? Can't imagine it would match the numbers of adding something else. I was thinking of going with long tube headers next.

Your going to want to work on suspension, lower it, better shocks and struts, and get better control arms. Otherwise all you will do is blow the tires off.

What are your long term goals for the car? The more power you add ... the more you need to plant the rear end to keep that power to the ground.

I would be happy to put you in contact with one of our build experts depending on your goals & use for the car -- we have many seasons vets from the track to the strip.

Best Regards,

TJ

dude has 18x10s on the back and 18x9s in front. Great tires on it. Id say get some suspension work done and be able to absolutely throw that car around

TJ, long term goals are to get it as powerful as possible while still keeping it reliable for daily driving, until it's not my only vehicle.

Will definitely look into the suspension work and lowering.

Why lol at headers?

Then explain?

Sure for tracking it, but for drag? For the most part you go WOT in a straight line.

Controlling wheel spin is a major thing even with autos

Cool. Since you're such an expert let me know when you publish your book on racing in a straight line. It's a very tough concept to grasp.

Get an intake and a one piece drive shaft! That will knock the doors off of competition!

As if wheel spin is even a big issue for me right now anyway. What am I spinning with NT555's and only 385 to the wheels?

I got an intake man. JLT.

No more info until we see some pics!

Stock suspension and you're good with it? Mines a '12 GT premium daily driver. Rear is way too soft for that power imo. a mild drop (1" front/ 1.5" rear) and associated suspension parts (UCA, LCA's, pan hard bar n brace) firmed it up nice for me. I'm still running stock sway bars (don't do much corner carving) and stock shocks/struts (24k miles so far). Probably need camber plates or bolts for the front too.
