I SCREWED UP A SET OF WHEELS JUST LIKE THAT ON A COATS BALANCER MANY YEARS AGO,I BIT THE BULLET AND REFINISHED THEM FOR THE CUSTOMER ON MY DIME. WORD OF MOUTH IS EITHER THE BEST OR WORST ADVERTIZEMENT YOU CAN GET..NEXT TIME TELL THEM TO BALANCE ON BACK SIDE ONLY.
AS FOR THIS MESS TELL THE OWNER/MANAGER NEXT STOP IS BBB THEN IF NOT REPAIRED SMALL CLAIMS COURT, GET A STATEMENT FROM WHO EVER YOU BOUGHT FROM AS TO CONDITION WHEN YOU BOUGHT.IF THIS IS NATIONAL CHAIN GET THERE HOME OFFICES NUMBER FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF PROBLEM AND TEACH MANAGER HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS! THEY HAVE INSURANCE FOR SUCH AS THIS

That's why you check before and after service. Take pictures before and after service. Let them see you taking pictures. That lets them know you're paying attention.

By the way, did you remove the factory part that is used to keep the rotor in place? If it's not removed it can cause a vibration

See the bottom left stud, it has this "nut" but it's more like a flat locking washer. This has to be removed before running aftermarket wheels.

Factory wheels have a relief cut to work with these

I know this doesn't solve your scratched wheel problem, but I thought I would mention it because typically when you order new wheels and tires they are balanced just fine. Several people have found this was the problem.

Just twist it off. It's flimsy but it will cause your wheel to feel off balance

District manager of tire shop came to look at my wheels today and decided to pay for the cost of three wheels which was damaged. Glad that they resolved my situation before I plan to sue them
