If I lowered mine this is the only way I'd go, the hood would have to be a must as well:

The MMD (10-14)
I got aftermarket rims buy mine is now lowered. But I've seen some pics with the ducktails with mustangs that arent lowered and I think they still look pretty good.

I think I might have to disagree. It for sure does not look like it's from autozone IMO. It may look awkward on the car bc it isn't lowered not sure. But getting what everyone else has I think is worse than getting something that not everyone has just to stand out.

Yes, but with Roush you're drilling holes. And if you don't like it well you're panel has holes in it now..

I don't like having what everyone else has either, I'm paranoid....
Not a fan of holes but if the car was past 100K miles I'd do it.... By then it would be full on drag car.

I have seen some pretty wild stuff at AutoZone but not a spoiler yet, they might have a rice only section though that I am not allowed to enter...
I still can't find any rims that I really like either.... Going to take forever with this car.

LOL. Take you're time and you'll get the mustang you have been envisioning. That's the process that I am going through also. Do I get a gt500 wing what a lot of people have or a ducktail that doesn't look as good as the gt500 wing but adds some variety into the group, you know? It's tough lol.

I could care less what anyone puts on their car. But I will tell you it's ugly if i see a 10-14 with a MMD spoiler on it.

Maybe if the back is the only thing people see if your car then you can pull it off ๐Ÿ˜„

Guess I'll have to settle for my ugly seats covers, rugged floor mats, mudflaps and steering wheel cover for now... lol
Would be great if I could find some wheels that are 18"x10" and 18" 9.5 that look identical to my stock rims... Scared of getting them modified.
I tried that thing where people only see the back of my car.... See my signature?

MMD ductail or GT500 wing?

78 in a 40 is just a slap on the hand though. Big ticket but nothing you wouldn't do again

And AM use to have the stock looking wheels in 10"not sure if they still do or not.

It sure is dude. Gt500 is used by everyone and Roush=drilling holes. MMD Spoiler=unique,no holes,DIFFERENT than others. Just my input.

You gotta pay to play guys. If it was "easy" everyone would do it (it actually is easy, just not painless at first)

It does look amazing. But drilling those holes, I just can't. I am 99 percent sure I would get the Roush wing if it didn't require drilling! Just can't do it lol.

It's not that lol. It's just the principle of drilling holes in you're car. Just can't.

Yea but look at it this way if ur car already came with that wing that was installed by the previous owner. Would not buy it knowing that there were holes drilled in the car to install the wing?

That's what I was thinking. I'm 50/50 for some reason with that. Because what if one day I want to change the wing or something for some odd reason. You know? But I still prob would buy it anyway lol not sure

I haven't seen many GT500 spoilers in Oklahoma and Colorado. I don't care if other people have it. I have it on mine because I think it looks damn good.

Honestly, down here in Florida I haven't seen one with a gt500 wing. Maybe I saw one at a car show but I probably didn't realize it was a gt500 spoiler because I wasn't interested in getting a wing until now. I'm prob. going to car show this weekend and I'll see if anyone has a gt500 wing. Maybe that will be the deal breaker between getting one or not.

I look at it like this, if my car came from roush it would have these holes drilled. Believe me it was hard to drill into my car, at least the first hole. After that it was no biggie. Then once I saw the end result I was very pleased.

Honestly I like all of the spoilers discussed for different reasons. But if you want the most aggressive, not on every car you see kind of spoiler then for sure roush is the one for you (or the unicorn RTR spoiler that is pretty aggressive).

I went to the American muscle show this year and I would venture to say I had one of a handful of these on a car not from roush, and even if all the cars there couldn't have been more than 25 cars out of 3000+ with this spoiler on it.

I'm just giving you a hard time because I had the very same struggle. I wasted time farting around with the GT500 and I suppose I appreciate my roush even more now but thought I'd share my struggle with you.

Lol no worries about giving me a hard time I appreciate that. The Roush wing does look great. But I think the way my car is stanced and the little things like that won't make the Roush wing look like it should be on my car if you know what I mean. I know drilling holes isn't the end of the world, but who knows maybe in the future when I am much more comfortable(hopefully) with drilling holes I'll invest in a roush wing for sure. If I want a wing that requires holes to be drilled I'll know which one I'll want, the Roush one 100%!

It took me 3 to 4 months of going back and forth about what spoiler would look good.........personally they all look good and it just depends on the color of the car.
I finally went with an OE GT500 spoiler because it was no more expensive than the others and I liked the separate black Gurney Flap. I left the flap off and painted the spoiler...........took the old one off and I think it looks good.
It's just like cutting the rear bumper on my 14 when it had 6000 miles to put the GT500 twin tip mufflers and rear valance on....it took me a couple of days to get the nerve to cut it.........but it was simple and I think it looks good.......plus I like to put as many OE parts on the car...at least I know they fit without a lot of hassle.
I think the Roush looks really good, it just reminds me of the the spoiler on my 71 Z28...............

That's correct only springs and PH. It's honestly not a bad ride. Never had any problems. Was gonna maybe grab some LCAs and Koni oranges in the future tho. But I've had this set up for almost a year now.

You've made your point you think it's ugly lol. Again no one else seems to think that. I feel like you like the roush or the gt000 wing because they come from Ford. Lol. The MMD does not look like an "autozone" part. Looks pretty damn good to me and worth the 330$.

I don't have a roush or gt500 spoiler. And pretty sure the "roush spoiler" comes from roush not ford
And as I said hopefully I see a few of them at the AM show next year Bc I will tell you it's ugly.
