Steeda has a sale on their sequential tail light harness.

Just letting everyone know just in case there were people in the market for them. They're cheaper than the raxiom harness.

It probably doesn't matter, but they are 2 different brand parts.

I was considering buying too. But I wanted to see a little feedback on them to make sure they work properly and the same way. ie: when you press (& hold) the brake pedal, they should only sequence once, then stay lit.

Raxiom has been out for a while and has an MSRP of $189, but usually sells for $135+-

Steeda is selling Dynamic Diode's part, MSRP of $99.99, and selling it for $79.99.

That said, Raxiom was charging WAY TOO MUCH. The Dynamic Diode's part is much more inline with what I'd expect to pay for something that costs about $20 to manufacture!

Raxiom sequentials are so overpriced it isn't even funny. I know the S197 is different because they already have a sequential blinker setup but just as an example... the original 96-04 sequencers are $70 shipped and you just have to splice a few wires. No replacing the relay or anything. By the time one gets done with the Raxiom kit and relay its $200 and they still blink faster than the slow blink kit for $70.

FYI:
Speaking of sequential taillights-
-WebElectric has the set that works the way OEA does. Brake pedal has all light light up at once, turn signal is sequential.
LINK:
WebElectric Products - Sequential Turn Signals, Sequential Taillights, Sequential Tail Lights, Dynamite Stick Sequential, Pulsing Brake Light Pulser Flasher, One Touch Convertible Top, Dynamite Stick, One Touch Turn Signals, Daytime Running Lights, L
-----------------------------------
-For 94-04 & 05-09 cars, modified turn signal relays, best I have gotten is from "AutoTrix.net". it blinks at a rate much better than Raxiom. They have sequential kits also.
LINK: https://www.autotrix.net/Products/8/...stang+Flasher/
-----------------------
-But, Raxiom now has a relay that they claim will not cause hyper flas when using LED's. Haven't tried it yet.

Mustang Taillight Sequencers |Tail Light Sequencers | Sequential

These guys were the first ones to do it and are still the best. Slow rate kit blinks as slow as legit 10+ lights.

That looks like a great set but the website is sooo confusing. they have sets for 96-98 Mustangs & next to that is a set for 96-04 Mustangs, different prices. And then when you look at the plug-n-play harness, it has a price but then says in description to "inquire about slow rate PNP kits". Cant tell if I'm buying a slow sequence or if I have to "inquire" to get the right ones.
Maybe it's me, i dont know. I wrote them a note asking for verification.

Yes if you want a PnP kit for slow rate you have to have them build it. But for $100 less and 10 minutes you can just wire in the $69 kit yourself... not hard. That is what I am doing and I'd do it now except the car is apart and I don't want to have it sit for months and then find out something doesn't work and then not get an exchange.

I have purchased the harness and I've spliced the kit in.
The turn signal relay from AutoTrix.net flashes at the perfect rate and each individual lamp seems to glow much brighter. Raxiom V1 still flashes too quick in my opinion.

Steeda is not selling Raxiom. Steeda's is a different manufacturer, Diode Dynamics, based in Missouri. The Raxiom branded set appears to be made by Monzter Automotive based in Utah. Qualitiy part, but AM has it way overpriced. Originally when Monzter introduced theirs it was the same price range as the Diode Dynamic set currently offered by Steeda. Monzter still has them on their site, and they are always sold out. I have been kicking myself, could have bought the Monzter branded sequencer for $79.99 about a year and a half ago.

Now I have ordered the ones from Diode Dynamics directly. Will update once they arrive and are installed. I have been reading very good things about them. Expect them to meet my expectations.

I've been installing and running these kits since 2003. The first one I ever installed is currently on the GT as I have just moved it from car to car.

Never had a single issue with any of the kits I have installed.

All great information. i didn't know any of that.
I was only satisfied with a flash rate slow enough for each individual bulb to light up, exactly as Ford OEM on the newer models.

I am very happy with this purchase. Works just like you would expect. Very easy to install. Probably took all of 10 minutes, no tools. Just open the trunk, pulled out the plastic cover over the light and inserted the sequencer between the connectors. Very easy. Much better price than the competitor...

Since I wanted to see what this really did to the lights I did a video to make sure it was doing what I expected. I did not really do this to post, but thought it might help those wondering what this is all about.
