You can put whatever tune you want on it.

AED would definitely be a better choice.

I would do 3-4 back to back runs at the track with each tune and then post them up here.

Yeah, Its shocking that in the past 5 years of this car being out that no one has done a direct comparison of Bama and AED tunes. Its a shame really ...

I live about 150 miles from AED and have had plenty of great AED service and tunes for my hot rod. Pretty much anyone in NorCal will tell you AED is the place to go.
Their rep is golden and tunes are awesome and safe.
And that's my 2 cents.

I can concur with this. Multiple guys in my club have been tuned or had their engines built by AED. They are also a sponsor for our club and come to most of our shows we put on..... Nice thing about living even closer than Fabman does lol (45 minute drive).

That's right, I tow a 10,000 pound trailer 2 1/2 hrs through the mountains in the snow just to get the air in my tires rotated.

Thanks for the info guys. Just order my tuner from Bama cause I haven't heard of AED place around me. But now I know a little more about my tuner. Thank you again.

I wonder how much faster in the 1/4 mile the same car would run with an AED tune over a Bama tune? Any educated guesses? 1 second faster? Half second faster?

I would bet little to no difference. However, I bet there is a drivability difference between the two.

I called Shaun he was extremely helpful I've be. Having issues with JBA headers on my 2014 GT I keep killing bank 1 sensor 1 o2's been through 2 sensors already and headers only been install for about 6,000 miles. Found out after talking to Shaun at AED that these headers are the worst ones you can get for coyotes. Shaun suggested I get kooks headers it's the only ones he knows that don't cause idle issues or kill o2 sensors. He asked me to send datalogs of my current Bama tuned mustang and I did afterwards I found that I had major knock activity on my knock sensors (I've data logged with Bama several times and they never mentioned that to me however I believe it's false knock due to the bad fitment of the JBA h pipe and magnaflow catback it tends to rub against the frame of car and this could be the false knock issue) I will be switching to AED after I get by Kooks setup I just purchased it yesterday 2285.00 for headers x pipe and catback. I just couldn't believe that he would look at my logs for free. After I get the parts installed he wants another log to see if the knock issues clear up. Then hopefully I can switch over to the AED tune.

Nothing wrong with the JBA long tubes. The 02's just need to be relocated.

Switching from Bama to AED

Don't need the H pipe. When you get them off I will take the headers. As long as they are still in good condition.
