Cervini hood fitment issues

I purchased the cervini heat extractor hood. Having fitment issues with the passenger side. Sits up about a half inch. Has anyone had a similar issue? How did you remedy? The body shop already baked it and primed it. Calling Cervini tomorrow. Hope there is a fix because I already have shop time in...

As Scotty said they will probably send you a new hood. Or should at least. They may ask for proof that the hood is destroyed though lol

Why didn't you have the body shop test fit the hood before primer and baking it?

Shimming it would only serve to raise it more, not lower it.
Am I missing something here?

Can you lower the hinge? I know you could on older mustangs.

They are probably referring to shimming the fender.

I don't understand how shimming either will lower it either.

Well the shimming worked. One small washer on the front bolt of the passenger side hinge made it completely flush. Looks great.
