Just be aware that a lot of the products on web sites like these come from China and other less desirable countries of manufacturer.
For my 13.8" rear discs (the hubs were painted) that I purchased at my Ford dealer I paid $77 a piece....REAR BRAKES for 2014 Ford Mustang

Front 15" discs FRONT BRAKES for 2014 Ford Mustang

Front 14" discs FRONT BRAKES for 2014 Ford Mustang

You get what you pay for............IMHO

So, I might be missing something here but the stock 4 piston calipers from 2015 mustangs, bolt right up to the spindle of a 11-14 mustang with no modification to the spindle or caliper?

So essentially you are buying just calipers on that 2015 auction?

Correct they bolt straight to the spindle with no modifications.

These are new 4 piston brembos from a 15 for $130? each?
Could not find 14's or 15's for less than $240 each

I searched on these PN's

FR3Z-2B120-E
FR3Z-2B121-E

BR3Z-2B120-B

It's interesting that the 15 Mustang offers three different brake systems;

The V6 and EcoBoost get 12.9" front discs both front and rear with 2 piston floating front calipers and the rear being single piston calipers.

The EcoBoost with Performance Package and the standard GT get 13.9" front discs and 4 piston fixed calipers in front and 13" discs with single piston caliper in the rear.

The GT with Performance Package gets 15" discs along with 6 piston fixed calipers up front and 13" discs with single piston calipers in the rear.

Seems like they're going up in price. They used to be 90$ then went to 130$ the last I looked.

This was cheapest I saw.

CALIPER, RIGHT for 2014 Ford Mustang|BR3Z-2B120-B

and what is with the $400 brake pads listed down the bottom here. Is that Boss or LS Boss pads???

FRONT BRAKES for 2014 Ford Mustang

Seems the Shelby stuff is bidding higher. Had to go to $288 to get he latest set, but it seems these calipers and pads are $560 ish from ford now and I figure I can sell 15 rotors for half price of new from Ford, or about $130 for set.

Any chance 15 brake lines can be made to work with a custom adapter bracket (IE, is brake line fitting the same size?). Probably go with braded lines from AM, but not ever going to a road course, so don't really need the better lines.

The brake lines from the 15 won't fit the 11-14 as there about 4" to short. And the first link you posted says its for a 14

True, but I figured if I was going to price new, why not get 14's. 15's are 6$ cheaper............

FRONT BRAKES for 2015 Ford Mustang

Pads are "only" 208$, but I can't even see if that is one side or both

Wow that's some good pricing if you can get them for that cheap. You'd still have to get every thing else with them like lines, pads, rotors

I already won the latest Shelby auction for $288, (like $330 shipped). Not counting 15 rotors, that is like $540 in parts.

Going to try to sell 15 rotors for half what they are new. 15 rotors are a bit cheaper than 14 rotors, or about $100 each.

So I figure approx. net for calipers and pads would be $230ish.

Are you going to end up using the calipers? And yeah I've seen a few go for lower but people are seeming to catch on now. Considering regular Brembos calipers alone are going for like 400$ish or more

Yeah, still think Shelby deal is best you are going to get right now. And yes, will eventually get them on. I still only have 4500 miles and I don't want to mod at all until I get some more mileage and get closer to end of warrantee.

These cars have too many things that could come out @ 20-30Kish it seems (tick, front susp squeak, driveshaft balance etc...).

Is it possible to mount the 2015 Ford "Brembos" to the rear of the 2014 GT?

I'm putting the 13-14 GT 500 Brembos with the 6-Pistons on the front and I'm wanting to have some better rear brakes on the back than the stock ones.

Just go with the GT500 13.8" rotors in the rear, probably way easier and definitely will improve braking, better pads and tires too.

They should but depending on off set you maybe need a wheel spacer.

Your front brakes do 70% of the stopping, why do you want Brembo's in back?
Is it possible...sure...how much money do you have????

Actually are you getting too much initial bite & that "jerk" at stopping b/c its hard to let off smoothly?

If so you kind of need to upgrade your brake booster too.

I've been considering doing it.

I upgraded from stock '14 GT front calipers to oem '14 4-piston Brembo calipers, and I have that "problem" of too much initial bite... ie: not smooth on & off.

Those calipers look really good in yellow. Let us know how it goes in the future with the new calipers as far as brake feel and stopping power compared with the original brakes once you get everything sorted out.

Will 18's fit???????????

Internal clearance you have with stock wheel off rotor.

Clearance you need with brembos.

Looks like you only need 1/4 inch spacer right, but I had over 3/4 inch
of washers on the studs and the stock wheel still barely fits. Internal dia
wise was no problem, as you need max of 16.5 dia and stock wheel
was about 1/4 inch over that.

Borrowed an 18 x 9 knockoff Bullet, has much more clearance than stocker.

Stock

Bullet

Fit pretty well with 3/8 spacer

Dia was another matter, would need light grinding on calipers.

Longer studs would be mandatory for stock wheel and pretty borderline for this bullet.

Couple more pics of caliper installed..
Dust shield fits perfect

As mentioned, brake line too short.........

Yep I used a 1/4" spacer. Maximum motorsports said you need a full 6 turns of the lug for it to meet standards. It spun roughly 6 1/2, so I figured it's fine for now until I order studs. Click image for larger version

Looks really good. I like wheels with spokes are are super easy to keep clean.

Shame there is no real way to use the stock wheels, as you can't use even a tire like the pilot super sport without them getting a bit "greasy" when it gets near freezing (I have a set of them in stock size with another set of stock wheels). I still like to drive the stang in the cold, as long as they have not started salting yet.

No shot that the dual balljoint 2015 knuckle fits, as the 15 rotors move the calipers about 1/2 inch inboard.

not sure if you had a source for Brembo decals but Ive had great luck with the stickers you find on ebay, they are available in a many colors and they hold up nicely
