Knock sensors on Bama tuned 2014 GT

Anyone having issue with positive knock at wide open throttle. I'm in the process of trying to switch from Bama to AED and Shawn request logs before we will tune your car. I'm seeing 2.00 max degrees of knock the knock start around 4850rpm and till 7,000rpm and is between .75 to 2.0 Im running 93 performance tune from Bama i was running shell gas and tried Exxon 93 to see if I had a bad batch of gas I reset the KAM and made 2 more wot passes still have knock but this time it was 1.75 max. I bought some torco fuel additive to try and rule out bad gas but I thought I would see if anyone else had this issue.

Have you called your tuner yet. He'll probably ask for a data log which I suspect you already have. This sounds interesting.

Knock sensors on Bama tuned 2014 GT

Knock can be from a lot of things. Bad gas is the most common. When I was in my AED 93 tune I don't think I ever had positive knock. Still ran 27-28 degrees on 93. Now I'm in the 30s with no knock and e85.

Yeah I checked for false knock I don't see anything even close to the body. I have checked for rattles and leaks don't seem to have any I'm hoping it's the gas from my datalog I never get over 24 degrees timing which is stock at wot. I'm seeing about 23.50

Yes I already contacted Bama and AED. AED said they can't tell fo sure but looks like possibly bad gas from where the knock occurs I ordered some Torco to try to boost the octane to see if that fixes the issue but even if it does I don't want to have to keep adding fuel additive to my car. I would try E85 but I'm afraid of not enough pumps in my area having it

I would try 10% ethanol. I run 91 octane 10% ethanol and run 34 degrees of timing at 7500 RPM's.

Most gas is already 7-10 % ethanol. Some now closer to 15%

Well I looked over everything again to make sure I didn't have any false knock coming from the exhaust system I did however hear a loud tick after several minutes of the car idling I found out that the vapor cell annoyed on top of the intake behind the throttlebody is bad. Listen to attached I haven't data log my vehicle yet but I bet this will fix the false knock Reading from the sensors

I had the exact same issue with my 14. Shaun and I went back and forth and I tried every 91octane gas available here in Oregon (we don't have 93 available) with the same results. He finally told me to try Costco gas...they only have 87 or 92 and after one tank the knock was gone...issue solved!
The knock sensors are very sensitive and even picked up rocks on the back road I used for WOT logs....the small pebbles were hitting the underside of the car...I switched to a nicer back road and had no issues...the tune if fantastic!
