55 watt

Has anyone had a 55 watt halogen melt their housing or does anyone think it will?

Could melt the housing or the pigtail that plugs into it. Now saying could because I don't know that it would. Personally I wouldn't do it unless someone proved me wrong like you're asking if anyone's done it.
