Best way to go?

I have done lots of reading and research but still not sure what path I want to go down. I have a 14 gt base with 3.73 gears. Im not a drag guy more of a corner carver with maybe one trip down the 1/8th mile a year. I do occasianal auto x and mainly like back roads and tight technical turns. I'm interested In the boss manifold bc I hate the way the car looses all steam right before redline. I'm also thinking of doing the speed master headers (long tubes) and off road x. I know cai's are worthless so I have no interest in wasting money on that. What would you guys do? I'm thinking a tune and off road x would do wonders for the car but long tubes interest me, but i question the gains I'd get off them. In the research I've done doesn't seem to be much of a gain for the trouble of install. I'm thinking boss intake to fix the out of breath problem along with off road x and be done. I already have upper & lower control arms, h&r springs, sr performance sway bars, pan hard bar, Barton's shifter and bracket and white line trans insert and some decent tires.

If there is no inspection in your state I would also get rid of the cats, upgrade your clutch and maybe some wider wheels and tires

It will still be a problem for you since ditching the cats will require you to have both rear o2's turned off. Then you'll fail for two N/A on the test.

You can turn the O2 sensors off with a tune, though. Does that leave the P1000 code on there or something because of the fact that the O2's aren't reading?

Yes they can be turned off in the tune and that will keep the CEL from coming on but if you have emission testing you will fail. Two N/A (readiness tests) will come up and you're only allowed one.

How interesting. I didn't think that two of 'em would come up. Glad I don't ever plan on running without cats on my car
