What brand nitrous kit?

I've been looking and I like how the Zex kit has the NMU which adjusts for bottle pressure but I don't like the nozzles for nitrous introduction. Now with the NX works and nitrous express kits I like the throttle body plates. What kits do you guys run and why?

Nothing wrong with a nozzle. People overthink this. Unless you're going direct port, it really doesn't matter all that much how you introduce nitrous to the motor, the flow patterns in the manifold will determine distribution.

I'm considering the exact kit you describe but, just thinking back on how annoying filling bottles got and all the fiddling with bottle temp and pressure has me hesitating. Up side is simplicity of install, easy tuning, low initial price and controllable power levels at the track.

5LHO what kit were you looking at? Zex. I could be wrong but from what im reading bottle pressure isn't to big of a problem with the Zex kit due to the Nitrous management unit they provide. Now you might not get a consistent shot each time but I think its more of a safety thing. Those of us that don't want a bottle heater might have better piece of mind with Zex. Ive used nitrous on my Fox bodies in the past and didn't care about much now its much different with a 10k motor and still making payments.

Nitrous bottle pressure is critically important to the consistency of the hit and the mixture going in the engine. You can't even it out totally, even with a controller, especially as the bottle level drops. It's not a safety thing unless you exceed the blowoff valve's release point but it is certainly a performance thing.

A heater is an easy wire-in or you can jut run it off jumper cables from the battery when needed.

I run the jug on my drag bike and have fired hundreds of pounds of N2O through various vehicles and the opinions above are strictly my own based upon my experience.
