Nitrous

I've been reading threads on this and can't come up with a solution??? When leaving the nitrous tune in the car and not using it how much HP is lost??? I want to run that tune all the time since I can't say at a light give me 5 minutes to change the tune..lol I'm not sure which jet to run and keep it safe. I would like 150 if I didn't have to buy more **** to be able to run that. I have cai, LTH, Catted shorty X-pipe and 373 gears.

Thanks in advance you guys always come through!!

If you are running 150 shot wet the fueling off the jug might not be too terrible but the timing advance curve certainly will be. That size shot is going to require specialized tuning choices. Nitrous isn't for the street, seriously. Too fiddly for that.

What typically happens with a nitrous tune is the target lambda is locked so the computer doesn't pull fuel away from the injectors to meet the n/a target afr, due to the nitrous kit spraying in extra fuel. The timing curve is also usually locked so the ecm can't just add timing because at that second there's no knock. Both of these make for some pretty ****ty running habits off the jug.
