SiriusXM rates

I just reactivated my radio for the 5 months for 20 bucks. It will automatically revert to their ridiculous rate of $15 a month after 5 months. I plan on calling a week or so before that to cancel, but I'm sure they will offer me a lower rate.

The sound quality is not as good as Spotify, but I like hearing different music from time to time.

What are you guys paying and what rate should I ask for? Thanks.

Once the free six months was up I never renewed. I never listen to satellite, no reason to. I use my iPod, but I'd stick with Spotify if I were you.

I had a Sirius subscription but canceled. The sound quality was horrible.
The highs sounded like they were underwater.. almost like streaming a 32kbps MP3.

HD Radio sound quality is superior in every way.

I have a Pandora One account which lets me stream at 192kbps. I also use AmazonMP3 which typically has a 256kbps bit rate.

I pay $15.00 a month for 2 vehicles. Had to negotiate the price. They are not locked in the $15 monthly. It can be reduced

Yeah, I know the sound quality is not great, I just like being able to switch to something different when I get tired of my play list, and anything's better that FM radio.

$68 a year sounds reasonable, thanks.

In 2008 I bought a 2006 T&C Chysler van. Had Sirius working in it. Just sold it last winter and it was still going. Saw the people I sold it to last week and they said its still on!!
