CDC-Type Grille while retaining 13/14 GT Fogs

Anyone managed to accomplish this?

I'd like a meaner-looking grille, but I don't want to lose or relocate the led fogs in the grille.

Anyone know of, or has fabricated a CDC-type grille with the factory fogs in place. I have trawled the interwebs to no avail...

I put AM's billet grill in mine and left the fogs.

So the billet just goes over them? Sorry for the side swipe but I'm interested in both. ..

CDC-Type Grille while retaining 13/14 GT Fogs

I don't see why you couldn't fabricate something but honestly I think it's going to look out of place. Have you ever seen what those fogs look like behind the grille? They are gigantic aluminum heat sinks that will be visible from a mile away. The more I think about it the more I think it's a waste of time. I'd just get some CS fogs and be done with it if I were you. I was kind of the same way (still wanted some sort of fog light) and I went with the roush fogs for that reason. Very menacing but functional.

I wanted a similar thing but it just won't happen with the CDC or Cervinis GT500 style grill. Now......why there is no Eleanor style grill available for 13-14 I have no idea! Love the look and you can still use the OEM fogs, just closer together in the center.
The only option I can see available for me now is the Roush lower fog light kit. They're pretty large and not so common but ohhhh the price.

The Am. Muscle unit tells you right in the instructions you have the option to leave them in. Their price was good too. The upper and lower for $189. Best price I found. My only complaint is I used slightly longer screws than what they supply with the unit. Up close you notice the fogs, but if you're back alittle ways you don't even see them. Personally I love the look. The grille is very aggressive looking.

I spotted this picture online looks like the owner cut the honeycomb out of a regular gt grille. Looks really good

That looks awesome ^.

I went through this same dilemma while trying to pick an aftermarket grille. I ended up going with AM's billet industries version. This grille gives you the ability to bring the fog lights in closer if you wish, Eleanor style. I wish I didn't like the fogs so much, because I would've went CDC lol. I'll be going with a lower grille delete most likely for an intercooler

That's a factory grill with all the honeycomb cut out.

Don't want them either relocated or behind grille. That's the problem. Thinking a chop job of oem grille is the way to go.
