you didn't mention on whether or not you are still on warranty .. If you are I might suggest you go with the ProCal tune from ford, you can maintain your warranty if a Ford dealer installs it. Others on here will tell you about other tunes but the truth is the ProCal tune woke up my car, and the differences between ProCal tunes and others aren't that much as far as E.T.. It's also very easy to drive on the street.

Well one thing I was going to look into was if you can switch back to a stock tune before going into the dealer. I know my last car I could hook up my laptop to the car and just set the ECU back to stock and they never knew.

With the new fords they are able to tell if your car has been tuned, even if you return it to stock.

I may tell you my Super charger is my fav. mod next week but....I just put my bumper and other plastic back on last night. I will be doing the Cat deletes tonight / or Sat. , put in programming and cross the fingers!

As far as tuners.. I have used Brendspeed on 3 cars and have been happy off the bat..
That is who I bought the Supercharger from as well and will be using there tune on that too..

You have to get a good tune so everything else can perform its best and work in unison!

I have the ford racing short shifter and it's the same as the Barton (made by Barton) and it's amazing. I love mine

I did tune/off road X pipe at the same time, really woke the car up. Now I'm bored with the car again. I ****in hate drive by wire.

Best mod you can get is a 5.0 key fob!
But no I think my favorite mod would have been exhaust followed by a driveshaft and then suspension build. A tune is a must though and probably a good starting point. Also I have a barton shifter and I definitely like it a lot. The throws are super short and with the setup I have they are very mechanical as well, which I like.

Have fun modding the fun never ends.

One of my favorite appearance mods is the CDC Shaker Hood Scoop I installed.

Best suspension mod would be the Fays2 Watts link with Koni yellows and Steeda sport springs.

Love the sound of the Roush axle backs after replacing the factory H pipe with an after cat x pipe.

Best shifter mod was the MGW Race Spec worth every penny.

Good to know. That'll most likely be 1 of my next 3 mods. I have to be careful not to buy all performance mods though. In the past all my cars look stock with wheels but have a ton of performance mods. Car shows always sucked because of it lol

For me it has to be suspension/tires. Im so happy I went with being able to get more power down and better handling of it before putting more power in. Of course I have a tune now but I can get more out of it

Very smart. Can't go wrong with doing it that way. Which tires and suspension did you go with.

Did they not offer to replace it? I feel like that would be something they would stand behind.

Koni yellows, ebaich springs, I can't recall which but it was only around an inch drop all around I believe, and then bmr panhard, upper and lower rear control arms and brackets. Tires are MT street comps 255 in front 275 in back. At the strip a decent burnout makes for great traction and they are definitely way better than the all seasons that were on the car before
