You can always remove the away bar and cut the bottom of the shock mount also.

I wouldn't suggest removing the rear sway bar. The front yes but the rear is actually important.

The bracket is permanent and not reservable. But switching back to 20's is fine. What you're doing is cutting off the bottom of the shock mount.
