A/C went out on new Mustang...

So I have a 2014 Mustang (new to me at least), the heat and fans work but it does not blow cold air. Being I live in a FL, this sucks...
I have obviously read all the horror stories about people bringing their cars to the Ford Service Centers for warranty repairs. So am I a little worried about that.

Are there any trouble shooting tips anyone could give me? I tried Youtube but not much...

ALL the Service Centers aren't THAT bad, right?

If I bring my car in for service I setup the "my key" feature. You can make it to where the traction control cannot be taken off, max speed setting and set some obnoxious dings if they do anything close to what the perimeters are.

If they know you are paranoid and have taken these steps they won't Jack with it in my experiences.

Unfortunately you don't really have a choice. It's gotta go in.

How do you setup a key like that?
I do have two cameras in my car... One dash and one hidden : )

Well the cameras will help too!

To setup a my key you first need to make sure you have 2 keys (because if you don't you can't take the settings off later).

Insert the key and with the steering wheel controls you go through the settings until you see the my key setup. Then just follow the prompts.

I can't walk you through the specifics off the top of my head but it's in the owners manual.

Huh, reminds me when I took mine in for the AC. Found out I no longer had a warranty. Also they said I had no choice but to replace the entire compressor, it was leaking from the front and that they'd replace it for $1000.
I asked "so I can't fill it up with a refrigerant/sealant?" Their answer was a sharp "no"
Took it home, filled it up with regular refrigerant, it's now been running ice cold for 2 years.

I used to work in parts at a dealership , I've seen it all from burnouts , spilling slurpees from gas stations , service cars being taken to lunch , while I worked there two techs actually took a 370z to get lunch at McDonald's and the manager working there noticed it was his car in the drive through . I'm all in favor of the hidden camera

I drive an hour out of the way when I have service like this done when there's a dealer 5 mins from me. Look at reviews when you google dealerships around you. Other then that I do the work myself. When you look out in the employee parking lot and see riced out civics and 240s you know to run.

So I found out my evaporator coil is leaking/bad? They need it overnight to work on.
How does that go "bad" on a 1.5yr old Mustang?
