Aftermarket catted H or after cat H

Currently have lethal performance over axle w res delete with gt500 AB. Will an after market H pipe change the sound at all from the stock H? Can't go o/r in WI so that's not an option. Also considering changing to an X pipe. Been searching through the forum, most posts are in re to o/r pipes.

Nope. It's removing the cats that makes the difference. A high-flow cat model may sound slightly different but it's hit or miss if they'll work for emissions.

That's what I figured. I do however understand that switching to an x will change the tone a bit. Thinking about getting either the magnaflow x or the basani x and keeping the stock cats. Trying to find clips to get a feel for the difference in sound.
