Car wont stay running after download

Ok, I've got myself a bit of an issue.

I installed my JLT Carbon fiber CAI,
-ordered a new tune from AM for my SCT,
-checked tuner for most recent updates,
-downloaded new tunes.
-Attached battery charger to car
-turned off all lights and accessories
-Downloaded tunes and completed with no errors

Now the car wont stay running. It will start for just for a split second then die.
Downloaded stock tune and it still wont stay running. I'm waiting for a response from AM on this issue. In the mean time does anyone have any suggestions?

Double check your work on your intake installation.

I believe it is. I checked about 5 times. The harness doesn't look damaged either.
But I will remove and reinstall it for ****s and giggles.
If it matters the car has 15K miles on it

Thanks.

Thanks.

You had no issue before you installed the tune, I'm assuming? Bama will fix it bro. Any codes?

Correct, I didn't have any issues prior too this download. I had been running a different tune from AM for sometime with no issues. I was back to stack for the last couple weeks waiting for the new CAI.

You don't have a CEL?

Is your MAF installed correctly? I've seen some people get issues after accidently installing the MAF backwards. There should be an arrow on it. Make sure it matches the flow of air.

Did you try going back to the stock tune to see if you still have the issue?

I installed mine backwards and it wouldn't stay running, I'll bet that's it?

Very easy to install backwards so don't feel bad if that it the problem.

Could be the MAF, also very possible that there is a gap somewhere in the CAI install. Double check the throttle body, and make sure there is no gap there. Any openings especially between the MAF and the throttle body will raise hell.

Well, got to thinking you guys might be right about the MAF sensor being backwards. Got home and checked.... sure enough it was. Feel like a total dweeb. But all is good now. Thanks for the insight.

Like I said earlier, very easy to do. Don't beat yourself up about it. Mistakes is how we learn. Glad everything is good to go now!
