Exhaust piping question - Mustang Evolution

Exhaust piping question

So I bought my car with long tubes and a high flow catted X-pipe and axle backs. I noticed the piping after the X-pipe back to the able back is stock. Is that factory piping a restriction at all? Not sure what size it is but doesn't look like 3" like the X-pipe.

Not as much of a restrictions as the catted factory H pipe. If you wanted to throw money at it for the sake of replacing it there are a few companies that make the over axle pipe replacement.

I'm sure they would be gains, but they would be minimal at best given the mods in your sig.

search man, there is a thread Sean from AED posted showing dyno results of OAP, as said, I believe JPC, and maybe Lethal Performance offer them

You really aren't going to see gains past the headers. The stock system flows well for the motor with no power adders. Different headers will change exhaust gas velocity enough to make a difference and obviously flow more. Assuming you've made changes to the intake system as well to flow more air all the way through then you'll see "gains".
