Finished Install Stripes and Decal

This thread should be under what made me happy today but couldn't find it right away so I thought I would just post it here.
I finished installing the stripes and decals today. Wondering if the stripes just before the door seam should be removed. It looks to me that it is just long which causes the last 4 segments to be sliced at the door seam. Let me know what you think.
Thx

I honestly think it looks fine. Definitely unique from what I have seen around my area.

Looks great as it is! Wouldn't change a thing! Yours looks great, even though I don't usually like the white ones, yours is distinct and definitely is able to pull it off! I just installed the rear louvers on mine today with my best friend.

Ricer math indeed. You don't have anything close to 512 horsepower.

100 horses aren't possible with boss intake, CAI, headers/exhaust and a dyno tune? Has to be at least 60-80 or am I totally off?

Maybe 30-40 with the tune and longtubes. The Boss Intake doesn't add any power but rather carries it higher in the rpm's and doesn't drop off like the stock one.

Looks good πŸ‘πŸ». My car has emblems that says 540 horse on on the badges that came from roush. I would like to replace them with badges that does not show horse power. 2 reasons why. Did some upgrades from vmp and their dyno with my setup showed 675 horse. So it has more than advertised on the car. Second I don't know how much horse I really have cause I need to dyno it myself. Vmp is reputable but still it wasn't my car that was in their dyno. I would rather not anyone know what I have cause if I get blown away from a car that has much less it wouldn't be as embarrassing. Also if I race a car that the owner thinks he's got more power and I beat them it's funny too look at their surprised face. At the end of the day numbers don't mean squat. They really don't. Otherwise nice carπŸ‘πŸ»

Your mod sheet says 512 hp @ the flywheel, suspect you didn't pull the engine to get that #..
Better to have no #'s, than " made up " ones !!

I like the way the stripes look. Quit while you are ahead, don't mess around with them.

Well urs is more than just switching out badges. I wouldn't mess with the vinyl. Besides when I think of your car roush 427r is more of type of roush like mine is roush hyper series. If u know what I mean. If mine was roush 540r than I would be cool with leaving it on

Finished Install Stripes and Decal

They made a 540RH. Though it was a 3V not a Coyote. Deadliest 4.6 in Roush flavor; intention was a sleeper. My model is based on HP. Well 07 had 427hp and 08+ was 435.

Good morning all,
If I knew how to delete my post on stripes and decals I would. It seems to have created some problems so how about we forget this post, not reply to it and move on.
Sorry Scott

No worries. I don't care about any numbers myself. I was really only here to see your stripes. But if you want, PM a mod on here and they can remove this thread.

Sorry on behalf of others that this got carried away.

'Tis the way of a public forum. Opinions go in all directions. That's what's moderators are for, to make sure it doesn't get out of hand. Very often more than one topic will get covered in a single thread. It's a learning and sharing platform and as long as it's civil, there shouldn't be a concern. At least that's my opinion/observation from many different sites (cars, woodworking, home repair...it's all the same)...but I'm not a moderator so don't take my statement as the rule for this site.

Would like to see more pics of the original poster's S Marquard's car, the white car with blue stripes.

Like to see more pics of the twin Blue Racing Stripes that are going over the hood, roof and trunk please.

Thanks.

If you post a horsepower figure, especially if it's on your car, and you can't back it up, you'll catch some flack.
