C&L, Airaid, or JLT

I know most people say CAI are a waste of money and you don't get much power, but for the sound and looks I'm getting one (had an Airaid on my 3.7)

Which, if any, brand CAI do you recommend? I'm leaning towards the C&L street. But give me opinions

This since none of them will perform better than the stock one.

The supercharger comes with the intake for $360 right lol?

I'll probably end up getting a C&L, or JLT whichever has the least noticeable decal or logo

I'm ready to pull the trigger on my first performance mod for my 2015 5.0, the CAI. I am leaning towards the Roush because it has the insert that can be removed when I am ready to tune.

An aftermarket CAI is not a performance mod unless you consider the weight drop from your wallet being emptied.

Lol. Its all about the looks really. May sound a little better but nothing too noticable.

Put the money on a tune instead, I wish I would have. Also the "cold air intake" is a line of crap, the air going in is hotter than with the stock air intake. I made a cover for my Airaid CAI to get the temp back down.

This gave me a good laugh. Mainly because it is true.

Considering that it's only for appearance, I believe the best looking one that works very similar to the factory, and improves the appearance of the factory one, would be the K & N unit, at least it is still sealed from the underhood temps, unlike everyone else's open exposed units.

Go with one that keep the factory duct behind the foglight, although like others have said, the stock airbox is fine. If I could of kept the stock airbox on my CJ swap I would have.

With an intake you see your IAT's skyrocket while standing still and take longer to balance out once you actually start moving.

I've already got it tuned.

Hell, maybe I should just forget the CAI lol. Looks good, but I don't think I want to spend money to diminish the cars performance.

H-pipe it is then!!!

The important thing to note is all of the open filter aftermarket CAI's allow the iat's to skyrocket. That in turn pulls timing and power.

Good call....Vortech and Paxton base kits still use the factory airbox, as does Roush/VMP with a different lid to point the outlet northwest. That should tell you something.....

You've got a point there.
Plus the MBRP H-pipe is almost the same price as a CAI
