17" Drag wheels and tires

I cannot fot 15". I am still not 100% sure why asa I got the sway relocation brackets. I am lowered and have LCA relocation brackets. stainless rear brake lines and new Stoptech rotors. Anyway...

I need 17 wheels and tires for the track on rears. I want low cost wheels and dont care about looks since for the track. I am lowered on sportlines. What is the biggest tires and cheapest wheels out there.

Yup, I tried, My mechanic tried. He said that the new brake lines are stiffer and would rub decent but the actual biggest thing is that the LCA relocation brackets do not allow the Sway relocations to move the sway enough to get out of the way.

Something is up with your mechanic. No reason they won't fit.

The sway bar is never in the way of 15" wheels, so that's impossible. Sway bar relocation brackets are necessary to cut the bottom of the shock mount off, nothing more.

and relos are only needed on a 10" wheel.

I have 16" on mine, they clear by a frickin' mile, and they are just stock '00 Mustang wheels. 15X8 with S197 offset should go on no problem.

Maybe try bending the brake lines inward a bit with a tubing bender if they won't clear.

I just did all this to mine. 15 in rear with relocation brackets. No issues here

What's different between yours and this:

???
The thing here is that in your application, you really want as much sidewall as you can grab with an MT, SC and your rear gears. I used 28X10X16 on my last S197, which was a MT82 3.73 car and that worked well. I had 26X10X16 DRs before and they didn't work at all with the suspension on the car and, I didn't have a power adder at the time.

Notice the bottom of the shock mount has been cut off hence the reason for the relocation of the sway bar. A 15x10 wheel interferes with the lower portion of the shock mount. A 15x8 will clear fine but due to the offset tends to not sit flush with the fender.

I have a 2014 GT. I bought 15" Weld RT-S for the rear. I have the relocation brackets. My wheels are 10 " wide with 325/50/ 15 tires which are huge and they fit. Something doesn't sound right here.

He's got an aftermarket rear brake, that is what isn't right. He's going to have to work around that, first...who knows why the relos didn't work here.
