Hood vibrating at high speeds

2013 GT. 38k miles on it. This started happening to me recently while accelerating at any rate past 80mph and gets more violent as I keep going. I have no what idea what this could be and its kinda scary because it feels like the whole front of the car is vibrating. Anyone heard of this?

Maybe try turning up the hood bumpers on the rad support a half turn.

Air is getting under there. Is the hood stock or aftermarket?

For 120mph at the track... hood pins.

My 2012 did this, and added getting the front end light a bit at speed. My '14 seems less prone to it, suggesting those hood vents are there more than for decoration.

reduce hp and speed, problem solved
joke aside, it shouldnt be vibrating unless any bolt are loose.

I had the same issue and after putting the complete front Boss 302 spoiler/filler on along with tightening the front hood bumpers 1/4 turn and installing hood struts no more flutter after 130. This is was in my old 14 TrakPak not my 03.

This often happens because of a loose or missing splash tray underneath the engine bay. Oil change places like to break them or remove them because they get in the way. Sometimes they just break too...
My friend was complaining of hood flutter, then I drove behind him and could see his splash tray flopping around under his car. You definitely need that cover down there to keep the extra pressure out of your engine bay.

Very good advice that. The splash shield creates negative pressure behind it and directs the high pressure air under the chassis. This car is an aerodynamic atrocity but, it does do that, at least.
