Who are you insured with? You've probably had your license longer than me. If I was rich they wouldn't charge me so much!! Haha

Ramen Noodles. Haha, I'm kidding.
I'm lucky enough to have a good paying job. If I still lived at home I'd have my Tremec and Aluminator already....
Fine balance between starving and car parts!

Not sure what I'll name my next Mustang

The state also matters for insurance. Some bend you over and give you nothing in return. Praise Michigan for being like number 2 highest insurance and gives you nothing in return..

USAA, I got my license 2 years ago this month. I'm also in TN, I'm hoping it'll go down in FL.

There are some pretty funny posts in here...

Living in SoCal at age 25, my monthly premiums on my 2013 GT are $319. Do the math... and cringe... Work hard, play harder. Right?

My license plate reads TRMN8ER, hence my screen name. I chose that car name / plate to pay homage to the original "Terminator" SVT Cobra Mustangs, which were absolute super car slayers at the time, and still are for that matter. But on top of that, I wanted something intimidating... Something that would make an adversary think twice before pulling up next to me

I laugh, kinda...I'm 50 and it costs me about $1200 a year for full coverage, stated value for 5 years...and speaking of risk, I rolled my '12 back in September and totalled it so, it ain't only kids being risky. I cost the insurance company plenty with that one.

The whole naming cars things is for race cars or for a joke. Taking it seriously is a little immature.

I disagree. That's like saying it's immature to name your pet lizard or any other non-intelligent animal / reptile / insect etc. It's not like that pet is going to respond to their name being called, so why name it? Wrong. That pet, or in this case your car, is your property in which you care for and love. We name things that we care for and love. Coming up with a name for something you love is in no way immature or pointless.

Now if you go around flaunting the name to the public, it can be perceived as a joke... yes I agree with that. But to give to some personality to something that personally makes sense to you, I feel is totally warranted.

My 16 vert is Paladin. it replaced a 11 Accord named Goober. It replaced a 98 MKVIII LSC named Blade. The truck is called Snowman and the Mcycle is 02 Gold Wing named S-4. Names are fun and show a connection with the owning experience. I think if you don't plan to keep a vehicle don't name it. But if its going to be part of the family a name is appropriate. As for the insurance thing, my 16 GT coverage lists as $980 for 6 mos. But I get $545 in discounts, I love it. Yay Allstate!

Some of you guys pay a ton for Insurance. As for naming your car make it easy to read. Not one of those license plates that 5 different people read and they all come up with something different.
