I have used a plastic large flexible plastic puddy knife made for dryway with a wash cloth underneath and slowly work it to remove almost all double sided tape items on my car.

^ that works, I've also found bondo spreaders to work well also. Then you can also use a good fishing line as well.

Another good way is to use a good thick fishing line, that's how I removed my old louvers and badges from all my vehicles. Just saw it back and forth and remove the excess 3m with googone or acetone.

I tried the fishing line when removing my chrome "5.0" emblems and much to my surprise, there was a dowel pin in the way so the string didn't go very far. I then used a putty knife as was suggested, with a few gentle taps from a hammer to break it loose and things went great from there on.

Ya always the mystery when takin badges off if they just adhered or clipped in, the bowties on the tailgates of Silverado come right off, the oval on certain f150s... Not so much...

Nice! Adding more flare is always fun.
