Drone

Anyone know of any way of reducing drone? I just put in slp loudmouth and it's pretty bad on the highway. Sounds amazing on the outside though!

Drone

Do you still have the front axel resonators on the car?

Really hard to eliminate that without changing the mufflers. If it's a drone producing design, it's tough. Good advice though, you might add a couple bullet resos to the OTA pipes if you don't have them and see if that helps.

Well you're most likely going to have to change mufflers or learn to live with the drone.

I agree, even sound deadening material doesn't help much.

If it happens primarily at a particular RPM area, I would look into J-pipes.

Yep, the tricky bit is figuring out the length required and placement. Easier just to replace the offending mufflers.

I have no experience with J-pipes but have seen a lot of stuff on it.
For example the following link shows how to calculate the tube length.
Also, I believe Solo sells them and has some that include an adjustable length.
