Need new suspension

so i had a set of used kw coilovers on my 14 gt and now theres loud clunking noises coming but hey i got 15k miles out of them. so i looking for something else i have a $1500 budget, i just want to get an imput of how coilovers are around that price range and which ones i should be getting or if i need to spend 2k or more on coilovers im just going to go with koni or bilstein set up with springs so imput on those 2 would much be appreciated.
I'm leading towards the st xta coil overs

You know the only way anyone can give you advice on this would be if they know what you intend to use the car for. If you are not tracking the car you prob don't need coilovers. And depending on how serious you are about tracking it would determine which ones that might get recommend.

The other question would be what type of track events you go to. Drags a few times a year or autox?

Based on what you are saying I'd probably just do some nice adjustable strut/spring setup and call it a day. You don't need coilovers in my opinion.

I will drag it more than I will autocross it, I would've ordered konis by now cuz my cars not drivable but one reason is I like the height adjustable on the coil overs so I just want to know if it'll be worth spending the extra for it, is handling a big difference from them? I was looking at the eibach multi pro r1 they're $1800 have you heard any cons about them, it is over my budget but I guess I'll squeeze out a lil more of it'll be worth it

Need new suspension

I have BC Racing coilovers from my old car, that eventually I will get put on my new car. But I've considered selling the BCs and getting Yellow Koni's and Eibach Sportlines. I think sportlines have the most drop in height out of most springs on the market. These give your car a leveled look, 1.3" in front and 2" in rear

I had the sport lines when I first got my car and it does have a nice drop to it, you think the sport lines are too much of a drop for the koni's?

The eibach sport system plus is a good deal, but I think I'd rather have Koni's than the eibach shocks and struts. They'll work fine

Whatever you do avoid Koni oranges. I have the yellows with Steeda springs and I love it.

I don't think someone going to the track as rarely as you do needs the height adjustability or stiffer ride associated with coilovers.

Is it better to use the 05-09 yellow Koni's with the GT500 strut mounts? Or the yellow 11-14 Koni's?

I think the real issue here should be why are they clunking... Start there, because it would suck to drop $1500 and still have a clunk...

I think the 05-09 with the GT500 mount is a great setup. It really depends how low you want to go and if you want to spend the money on CC plates or better/replacement mounts. Because those stock ones will fall apart on you unless you get lucky.

As in how much drop? It's a conservative drop. I have the Steeda sport springs. It's like 1.25 rear 1" front. This is my car.

For sportline springs what would you go with?? CC plates are a lot more expensive than gt500 strut mounts lol
