Question Maunual or Power?! - Altec Products Show n Go License Plate Transporter

I have a '15 GT....and live in Illinois that requires that ugly a** front license plate.

I found that Altec Products, Show n Go transport that allows you to hide you plate.

I love the videos of the auto one flipping out, but worry that it would not work great or become less effective over time.

Pros
, it's cool...if I get pulled over, I can do it from in the car, etc

Cons
, How hard to install...I have to hack into the wiring...how long will it work....what about in the winter with snow or parking...does the weight effect the mounting...

I bought the "manual" one, but before I install it I am having second thoughts!

What do you all recommend?

Maunual or Power?! - Altec Products Show n Go License Plate Transporter

I had the power one ended up breaking it and I went to the manual one. The Sto & Show bracket I like it better.

Manual, less trouble, less to go wrong and when you accidentally bump the curb when parking or have to straddle a piece of blown tire on the highway, it's cheaper to replace.
