2013-14 Headlight options

So my stock driver side headlight DRL is more yellow than my right, it's pretty annoying and I'd rather just buy new ones which I was going to anyways. I searched across the forum and mainly saw threads about the fogs.

The question is, what are good options? I only see Raxiom smoked and chrome as a result of checking multiple sites, I see a lot more options for the 11-12.

Not a fan at all of the chrome, I do like the smoked but what's the output like on them? What bulbs are recommended to actually be usable? Any better options than these?

I happen to love the stock 13-14 headlights. I'd try to get the color difference corrected with oem pieces or maybe new bulbs without changing any of the housing. I like the smoked halo fogs, but wouldn't change the headlights.

I don't know if this is a better option or even your style, but diode dynamics makes a color changing LED board. You would have to take the lens off your headlights though. It's a daunting task but not impossible. Check out the installation tab. They don't tell you how to remove the lens but they do show you how to install the LED's

To be honest, yes I have and I had a bad experience. Not with the diode dynamic kit though. They were the 2010-2012 HID head lights. I had them blacked out and some custom 2013 style LED bars installed. The company since then has gone out of business. But basically, the problem I was having was fogged up lenses and condensation which eventually ruined the LED's. If I could do it again, I would have done it myself. I've seen a few people replace lenses on mustang lights on the forums and it doesn't look too challenging. Just lots of patience and moderate heat. It's easier living with your own mistake than someone else's I say. Luckily I found some OEM HID's for cheap to replace those pieces of crap. And as for how long it takes, it depends. I sent them out across the country and it was a three week turn around time.
