You've never had a 600 HP car either then right?

Supercharge it and knock out two birds with one stone.

315 pound bench press? Nope.
405 Parallel squat? Yup
Break a 6 min. mile? Yup
Black Belt? Yup
Gone faster than 150? Nope
Owned a car with 500 HP? NOPE
(Sadly, the full list has a lot more "nopes" than "yups" and is probably NSFW)

I hate to say take advice from someone younger than you, but here I go: give up on the 315 bench. Take it from a guy that does 435 (took pride in knowing I could bench my cbr100rr) and now has shoulder issues; not worth it, rather stick to repetitions and worry about looks as opposed to performance there.
As far as the 500hp, if you don't want spray, blower, or turbo, give up on 500whp. How about we just shoot for 500 crank as a compromise?? Go CJ intake manifold, CJ monoblade throttle body, FRPP CJ intake, 1 7/8" longtubes, catless x pipe, gt500 overaxle pipes, gt500 axleback exhaust, aed tune and then concentrate just as much on the suspension and tires. Everything matters as a whole. I tend to like the whole Japanese approach, but to an american car in terms of wanting something balanced as opposed to balls to the wall.

I get it! You're not going to compete with anyone, or anything. You just have an itch and want to scratch.

If that will make you happy... Hey, it's your car, your money, and your enjoyment. Do what makes you happy while you still can.

Having an NA 500HP car is easy to do with the 11-14 Mustang GT.

Basically CAI, header, Boss/CJ Manifold, 93 octane tune, 3" cat back and catless setup will bet you close to 500HP at the crank. Getting closer to 500whp is more problematic and not even a camshaft will get you there.

Everything listed here will net you about 450-460whp that translates to about 517-525HP.

But, if you're a track guy, it get addicting to go faster....

I agree with the handling also!
